1.1. User Content (Images)
We collect images (screenshots or photos) that you upload for analysis.
No Permanent Storage of Images: Images are uploaded to our processing provider (Google Gemini API) for analysis. We do not permanently store your raw image files on our servers. Once the analysis is complete, the image is discarded or stored locally on your device history. We only retain the text-based metadata (e.g., "Device Type," "Error Code") to improve our service.
1.2. Location Data
With your explicit permission, we collect your precise or approximate location.
Purpose: This data is used solely to display nearby repair shops and technicians on the map.
Control: You can enable or disable location services at any time in your device settings.
1.3. Usage Data
We collect anonymous data about how you interact with the App (e.g., crash logs, features used) to help us improve performance and fix bugs.
How We Use Your Information
To Provide Services: Analyzing your screenshots to generate repair guides.
To Locate Experts: Showing you repair shops near your current location.
To Manage History: Saving your repair guides locally on your device.
To Enforce Safety: detecting and rejecting prohibited content (e.g., nudity, violence).
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party service providers to facilitate App features:
Google Gemini API: Your uploaded images are processed by Google's AI to generate the repair text. (See Google Privacy Policy).
Map Services (Apple Maps / Google Maps): When you use the "Find Expert" feature, your location data is processed by these map providers to show results and navigation.
Analytics Providers: We may use tools to analyze anonymous usage trends.
Data Retention and Deletion
Images: Raw images are not stored on our servers. They reside locally on your device until you delete them.
Repair History: You have full control over your history. You can delete specific repair guides or clear your entire history directly within the App settings.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission (SSL/TLS encryption). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children’s Privacy
Our App is rated for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
