Terms of Use - Fontfy
Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fontfy mobile application and keyboard extension ("App"), operated by Liconte LLC ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using Fontfy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you DO NOT agree to these Terms, you may NOT use the App.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Fontfy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using Fontfy and remove it from your device.
Eligibility
Fontfy is intended for use by individuals who are at least 13 years of age.
If you are under 18 years of age, you may only use Fontfy with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By permitting a minor to use Fontfy, the parent or guardian agrees to be fully responsible for the minor's use of the App, including any activity performed through the App and any obligations arising from these Terms.
Fontfy is not designed for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly permit or support such use.
License & Permitted Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Liconte LLC allows you to use Fontfy under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
This permission allows you to:
Use the App and keyboard features on your personal devices
Generate styled text and font content for personal communication
Access optional AI and clipboard features for personal use
You may not use Fontfy or any content generated by the App for commercial purposes, resale, advertising, business promotion, or any other revenue-generating activity without our prior written consent.
This permission does not provide you with ownership of Fontfy or any intellectual property rights in the App.
Restrictions & Prohibited Conduct
You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:
Use Fontfy for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or deceptive purpose
Use Fontfy or any generated content for commercial, resale, advertising, or business purposes
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Modify, copy, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or create derivative works based on the App
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features or technical protections
Upload or generate content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, or violates the rights of others
Use automated systems, bots, scraping tools, or scripts to access or manipulate the App
Interfere with the stability, availability, or performance of the App or its servers
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access.
Clipboard & Keyboard Disclosure
Fontfy provides a custom keyboard and optional clipboard functionality.
Clipboard content is stored only on your device
Clipboard data is not uploaded, synced, transmitted, or backed up to our servers
Liconte LLC does not access, view, or store clipboard content
You are solely responsible for any content you choose to store in the clipboard
Removing the App deletes all locally stored clipboard data
Fontfy does not log, record, or transmit keystrokes, passwords, messages, or private information typed using the keyboard.
AI Features & Content Responsibility
Fontfy includes optional AI-powered features.
AI tools are provided for convenience only
Text is processed only when you manually submit it
Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
You are solely responsible for how you use any AI-generated output
You agree not to use Fontfy's AI features to create, submit, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to AI features if misuse is detected.
Subscriptions & Payments
Fontfy offers both free and premium features. Access to premium features requires an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store.
Subscriptions are billed and managed solely by Apple
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
You are responsible for managing your subscription through your Apple account settings
All billing, payments, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's terms
Liconte LLC does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds.
Third-Party Services
Fontfy may use third-party services to provide functionality and maintain performance, including analytics, diagnostics, and AI processing services such as Firebase and Gemini API.
These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
Liconte LLC is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Fontfy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liconte LLC disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that Fontfy will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any generated content will be accurate or reliable.
You use Fontfy at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liconte LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Fontfy, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to Fontfy shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for access to the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Fontfy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Fontfy is operated from the United States and may be accessed worldwide.
If you access the App from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
You waive any right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Fontfy at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that may harm the App, other users, or Liconte LLC.
Upon termination, your right to use Fontfy will immediately cease.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, or our business practices.
When updates are made, the revised Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of Fontfy after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
